Subh-e-Nau:
An Environment and Public Health Concern
Subh-e-Nau (SN): An environment and Public Health Concern is a registered
non-commercial organization working in the areas of environmental conservation,
public health issues and sports promotion.
SN represents the selfless dedication of socially aware individuals
who want to bring about meaningful and lasting change. This dedication
has culminated in an ongoing and highly successful tree plantation campaign,
water conservation, passing of health bills and promotion of underrepresented
athletes, to name a few.
Further, SN is actively promoting public awareness in the form of the
monthly Subh-e-Nau, and active presence in newspapers and electronic
media. Subh-e-Nau was first published it in Quetta in 1950s.
Subh-e-Nau literally meaning “a new dawn” reflects the thoughts
and efforts of individuals who optimistically work for a better environment
and a society ready to work in harmony with Nature.
A strong team of dedicated individuals including architects, medical
experts, social workers, scientists, educationists and technocrats voluntarily
support SN.
