Job Descriptions
Project Manager
• Work under the guidance of and report to the
Project Director for carrying out the designated tasks or incorporating
revisions and changes in the scope of nature of the project.
• Coordinate and provide leadership to the multidisciplinary team
(national and international medical, rehab, field and other related
team members) for the rehabilitation project/program.
• Maintain and develop liaison (technical and management related)
for advising policy and the program with health and administrative officials
within the Government, Armed Forces, national and international organizations,
the community and other stakeholders.
• Explore collaborations for technical facilitation related to
the project; and knowledge exchange for developing standard protocols
and training of professionals, semi-professionals, volunteers and patients.
• Design/implement surveys and/or research for needs assessment,
problem identification, financial management, field visits, monitoring
and evaluation, data analysis and program reports.
Medical officer
• Work under the guidance of and report to the
Project Manager for carrying out the designated tasks or incorporating
revisions and changes in the scope of nature of the project.
• The reporting hierarchy for technical matters would be to: 1.
Project Manager; 2. Project Director.
• For other issues including management related and medical issues
you will first report to the PC.
• Assess the physical condition of patients to diagnose problems
and plan appropriate treatment.
• Maintaining patient records and collecting statistics.
• Educating and advising patients and their carers about how to
prevent and/or improve condition.
• Provide guidance on the use of equipment or adaptations to help
with activities of daily living.
• Assess any needs regarding specialist surgical interventions
• Perform, where needed minor surgical procedures at the SN clinic
Muzaffarabad following all necessary protocols and pre-cautions
• Work as part of the outreach team during patient assessments
and follow-ups.
Admin and Accounts Officer
• Work under the guidance of and report to CEO
and Directors in Admin and Accounts work
• Accounts work contains of Peachtree software. Candidates having
the knowledge of Peachtree would be preferred
• Maintain Updated SN and MSN bank system
• At the end of each month prepare tax payments, Bank Reconciliation
Statements of SN and MSN and requests for bank statements.
• Prepare Bank and cash receipt and payment vouchers. Enter all
the data in peach tree accounting software
• Prepare various reports using accounting software according
to the demand of top management and auditors.
• Preparation of financial statements for Donors
• Responsible for internal audit of SN and MSN.
• Update all advocacy Files
• Keep check and control on all employees regarding cleanliness
• Randomly check the attendance register
• Revision of contracts of all employees on increment.
• Prepare contracts of new employees.
• Update contacts and employees databases Cutting clippings of
all environment related articles and save them for record.
Physiotherapist
• Work under the guidance of and report to the
Project Coordinator/Medical Officer for carrying out the designated
tasks or incorporating revisions and changes in the scope of nature
of the Subh-e-Nau’s different projects.
• Assess the physical condition of patients to diagnose problems
and plan appropriate treatment.
• Use a range of techniques to strengthen and stretch muscles
and joints to improve patient mobility.
• perform spinal and peripheral joint mobilization and manipulation.
• Maintaining patient records and collecting statistics.
• Use equipment such as heat packs, exercise equipment, ice packs,
infra lamps and electrotherapy to ease pain, reduce swelling and improve
range of movement.
• Re-train patients to walk or to use devices such as walking
frames, splints, crutches and wheelchairs.
• Educating and advising patients and their careers about how
to prevent and/or improve condition.
• Provide guidance on the use of equipment or adaptations to help
with activities of daily living.
• Assess any needs for home modification to improve the patients
accessibility inside and outside the house.
Assistant Physiotherapist
• Work under the guidance of and report to the
Project Coordinator/Medical Officer for carrying out the designated
tasks or incorporating revisions and changes in the scope of nature
of the project.
• Carrying out assigned tasks involving direct care for both male
and female patients in support of and supervised by the PTA and/or Rehab
team
• Assist the patients with their individual gym activities as
required.
• Undertake clinical duties under the supervision of qualified
team members e.g. monitor temperature, pulse, respiration and assist
in the administration of drugs.
• Contribute to the moving and handling of patients to maximize
their physical comfort and rehabilitation.
• Report and record information in an appropriate manner.
• Ensure that all visitors to the clinic are approached in a helpful
and welcoming manner.
• Participate in ward meetings to ensure effective communication
is maintained with all staff.
• Undertake training to develop and enhance an understanding of
the role of the rehabilitation assistant.
• Perform any additional duties as required by the service.
Editing Assistant (Publications)
• Develop ideas and their outline
• Discuss the idea with the team
• Research on the outline decided
• Prepare write-ups on the ideas developed each month
• Review relevant contributions/articles and revise in the light
of discussions with the team.
• Review newspapers/other news sources and prepare write-ups.
• Reporting/Interviews - depending on the nature of the story.
• Finalization and Translation (Urdu to English/English to Urdu).
• Arranging relevant photographs (with the help of the Coordinator).
• Editing of the contents (contributions/articles/etc).
• Preparation of press releases, reports and write-up of brochures
of the organization.
• Suggestions on improving the systems of the organization.
• Research advised by the Editor and Coordinator.
Marketing and Fund Raising/Event Manager
• Minimum 3 year experience of event management
• Fund raisers and PR Events
• Seminars, Conferences, Concerts, Ghazal evenings etc
• Must have good contacts in:
• Advertising agencies
• Production Studios
• Printing Houses (Offset, flex and other outdoor mediums)
• Educational Institutes
• To coordinate all activities including planning, organizing
and controlling
• To meet contractual obligations and quality service standards
• To direct, coordinate and supervise the activities of personnel,
subcontractors and vendors as required to successfully execute the assigned
events
• To provide information and guidance for the client in order
to obtain accurate event specifications, produce event orders to be
distributed among the team members
• To effectively communicate information through written correspondence,
oral communication and preparation of reports
• To coordinate with catering, audio-visual and security and other
requested services
• In marketing capacity, meeting with potential facility users,
site selection, conducting visits of the facility, and selling the event
site, whenever required
• Implement, maintain and enforce operational procedures and perform
other duties as may be required
• Prepare effective reports and correspondence.
• Identify potential problems and make necessary plans for corrective
action
• MS office and related computer soft wares
• Must be aware of procurement and project based hiring protocols
• Must have good communication and contact management skills
• Will be responsible to perform tasks in individual capacity
• Must be available to work a varied schedule. It may include
extensive night and weekend work.
• An individual having his/her own vehicle will be preferred (company
will bear fuel and maintenance)
Graphics/Web Designer
• New graduates showing the will to learn, train
and use their creative skills for the diverse subject of environment
and public health will be strongly considered for the post/s
• Relevant background: could be from art, advertising, graphics,
design, IT, Computer sciences, etc
• Develop 3 Ideas/layouts for the Magazine Cover and Cover Stories
• Search for appropriate graphics and fonts
• Maintain, update and back-up of daily work, picture libraries,
and other materials for use in any present and future publications
• Develop layouts for the articles and the whole magazine
• Designing work related to the organization (brochures, pamphlets,
etc.) as time may allow
• In case you require help, you will be facilitated by the Coordinator
• The layouts will be approved by the Co-editor and Editor. In
the absence of the Co-editor and Editor, the Coordinator will approve
layouts for the whole magazine.
